Have you been diagnosed with cancer, or are you supporting someone who has?

The Doncaster & Bassetlaw Cancer Care App gives you access to information about cancer care locally and the support available to help you through your treatment and recovery.

In this app, you will be able to find:

• Information about your local hospitals and the different departments
• The teams involved in your care and how to reach them
• Local Macmillan support
• Support available through Aurora Wellbeing Services
• Therapies within your area
• Support groups
• Transport and travelling advice
• Finance support
• Personalised cancer care services
• A helpful guide that explains the different jargon and acronyms used by medical teams in your care.

Once you have downloaded the app, it will appear on your mobile home screen. The app looks like this:

When you open the app for the first time, it will ask you to search for your hospital app, please enter ‘Doncaster & Bassetlaw Cancer Care app’ in the search box and confirm the selection. You will then be taken to the home screen.
