Are you committed to providing excellent patient care and show compassion towards their family and friends ?Do you want to be a part of a Dementia Friendly Hospital ?An opportunity has arisen for an Activity Coordinator to join the nursing team on Ward B6. The ward has a varied patient group who require differing levels of supervision and care.

You will have the responsibility of coordinating activities for patients whilst on the ward and be expected to manage resources effectively encouraging patients to join in activities  whilst promoting excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

You will require previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Therapy Assistant and ideally have experience of caring for patients within a Surgical and Cancer Division. You will be expected to provide assistance to the qualified nurse in creating and developing a stimulating activity programme that enhances the quality of life and mental well being for patients.
