Ebony embarked on her professional journey with Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) in 2022, taking on the role of a Level 3 Business and Administration apprentice within the Surgery and Cancer Division. Her dedication to learning and growth was evident from the outset, as she pursued her apprenticeship with unwavering determination. Upon completing her initial apprenticeship, Ebony sought further development opportunities and applied for a Level 4 apprenticeship with the Charter Institute of Procurement within the Procurement Department at DBTH.
Throughout her apprenticeship journey, Ebony has demonstrated a desire for knowledge and a commitment to excellence. Her successful completion of the Level 3 Business and Administration apprenticeship resulted in an overall Distinction grade, a testament to her hard work and commitment. The level 4 apprenticeship has enabled Ebony to harness her skills and abilities, while her willingness to learn and tireless commitment to detail has made her an integral part of the Procurement Team.
Ebony’s exceptional performance has not gone unnoticed. Her colleagues and trainers alike commend her tireless work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism. Ebony was even shortlisted at the 2024 South Yorkshire Apprenticeships Awards for Professional Services Apprentice of the Year.
