We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic team to deliver an exciting Digital Transformation Programme at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an individual who is interested in a development role as a Systems Development Manager. The successful candidate will commence in role as a band 7 Systems Development Manager with a 12 month competency framework to support their eventual development to a Band 8a Systems Development Manager, following successful sign off and demonstration of the competencies required through regular review.
The competency framework will be developed with the successful candidate to ensure their specific development needs are incorporated and will be in line with Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). Please note assessment for recruitment to this development opportunity is against the Band 7 job description and Person specification as a minimum requirement.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Clinical Chief Information Officer, Chief Information Officer PMO Leads, Qi team, Care Group/Corporate Directorate SMT and IT Project Managers, to help deliver the Departments aims and objectives.
They will be responsible for managing and facilitating all computer software developments within the Trust. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring all interfacing and integration requirements are delivered by developing and managing specific interfaces to IT systems. This will include specification, workflow analysis, system development, procurement, implementation, interfacing, data migration.
You will have the opportunity to develop the wide range of skills and knowledge required to deliver complex digital and/or transformation programmes that will underpin process and clinical improvements. Excellent understanding and experience of HL7 is essential and FHIR would be beneficial.
