The event is an opportunity to hear about the work and achievements of the organisation throughout 2022/23, and will stream from 6pm, supported by Microsoft Teams.
Suzy Brain England OBE, Chair of the Board at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH), said: “A crucial event in our calendar, the Annual Members Meeting serves as a platform to recognise and celebrate the remarkable progress by colleagues within the Trust, as well as highlighting where we can make improvements in the years ahead.
“The virtual meeting will feature a comprehensive overview of our accomplishments, advancements, and milestones attained over the past year. Key performance indicators, both operational and financial, whilst members will also have an opportunity to send in questions ahead of time, which will be answered by members of the Board of the Directors.
“Even though we will miss seeing you all there in person, we are excited that our members can attend the meeting from the comfort of their own homes. Using video technology we hope this format is more convenient for you, as we highlight the past, present and future plans of our hospitals.”
Throughout the meeting, executive colleagues, including the Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer, within the Trust will present updates on:
- The Trust’s response to COVID-19 throughout 2022/23
- Overall operational activity
- Highlights and challenges throughout the year
- Financial performance
- An update on local, regional and national developments in health and social care.
The meeting will be conducted online but it will follow a similar agenda to previous years. There is an option to submit questions beforehand and members wishing to do so should head to: https://www.dbth.nhs.uk/dbth-annual-members-meeting-2023/ which will also contain all of the information you need to access the meeting.
