On Friday 12 March, the entrance nearest to Whitby’s Fish and Chip shop will be closed to ensure that the team can undertake preliminary work to ensure they get resurfacing underway on Monday 15 March.
The temporary parking area will be re-configured as detailed below, by the car parking teams and the areas to be resurfaced will also be fenced off.
We alongside recent lighting additions, we hope once completed the new surface will provide a better parking experience. We will also continue to look to improve the security of this area.
The works will take a few days to complete – we will communicate when they are finished.
