Recycling your mobility aids

If you have mobility aids cluttering up your cupboards, you can simply return your mobility aid to one of our recycling points.

Mobility aids, such as walking sticks, frames, rollators and crutches, can be safely refurbished and reused repeatedly.

Look out for the special mobility aid recycling bins at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital.

Drop off points can be found in the entrances at the following locations:

At Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Fracture Clinic (Gate 2)

Outpatients 1&2 (Gate 3)

At Montagu Hospital

Physiotherapy foyer

You can also take your unused items to the purple recycling bins within Household Recycling Centres across Doncaster.

You can arrange for larger pieces of equipment to be collected for free.
Contact: enquiries@doncaster.nrs-uk.net or call: 0300 100 0243

Please be aware that any mobility equipment given to you remains the property of the NHS and cannot be transferred to another person without prior agreement.
